Bonnie Recca paints in the American Classical Realism style, which is enjoying a renewed popularity.  She has primarily studied at the Long Island Academy of Art with Robert Armetta. One of her favorite subjects is flowers, drawn to their beauty, vibrant colors and transience.  Her work has been shown in New York City and Long Island.
